GET provided construction materials testing for the casino originally developed as the Imperial Palace Casino Hotel. The casino resort is a 32-story structure standing 335 feet tall with nearly 1000 guest rooms. The project also included an 11-story parking garage, Olympic size pool and spa facilities. The building is a cast-in-place structure with post tension slabs. Due to the construction schedule and testing requirements associated with the project, GET provided multiple technician personnel throughout the construction phase of the project and set up on-site testing facilities for the round-the-clock construction which lasted about two years. GET technicians tested and reported results for all of the pre-stressed concrete, high strength concrete, soil compaction, and post-tension slabs for the facilities.
